Our pieces are handcrafted in our own studio in Bangkok, Thailand, where we work closely with a small team of skilled artisans. We know the people behind every piece — and we choose to keep it that way.

We also use recycled silver, allowing existing precious metal to be refined and reworked rather than newly extracted. Precious metals carry a quality most materials do not: they can be melted down and returned to jewelry again, without losing their essence.

Real gold plating will gradually fade with daily wear—particularly with friction, scratches, or contact with harder surfaces. This is a natural characteristic of the material, not a defect.

To slow this process, every Touchofyoga piece is finished with a 1 micron layer of real gold plating, followed by a double protective coating applied by hand.

This creates a barrier against sweat, humidity, and everyday contact helping your piece hold its appearance significantly longer than standard plating.

In comparison, some brands use what is known as flash plating—an ultra-thin layer of gold that is not always clearly disclosed.

Thickness plays an important role in how long a piece lasts. With mindful wear and simple care, many pieces continue to look beautiful for years—and can be restored when needed.

Each piece is finished with a double protective coating, designed to handle everyday conditions such as daily wear, hand-washing, light sweat, and humidity. This added layer significantly reduces tarnishing and helps your jewelry maintain its appearance over time.

Sterling silver is a real precious metal. Like all real materials, it naturally responds to its environment over time especially with exposure to moisture, air, and daily wear. This is not a defect. It’s part of how real materials behave.

Yes—our jewelry is water-resistant for normal daily wear, including hand washing, light rain, and workouts. This is supported by a double protective coating, which helps shield the surface from moisture and everyday exposure.

You may have seen the term “waterproof” used elsewhere. In reality, most plated jewelry—no matter how it’s described—still requires care around chlorine, saltwater, and prolonged exposure.

We choose to be clear about this from the beginning. Extended contact with chlorinated water, saltwater, or harsh chemicals can gradually wear down the protective layer over time.

After heavier exposure, we recommend a simple rinse with fresh water and drying with a soft cloth.

Care is simple.

There’s no need for daily cleaning.

After exposure to sweat, the sea, or the pool, simply rinse with fresh water and dry with a soft cloth.

Because your piece is protected with a double coating, there’s no need for polishing chemicals.
